What is Yin Yoga
Most forms of yoga today are dynamic and active practices designed to work the muscular half of our body, the Yang tissues.
Yin yoga allows us to work the other half, the deeper Yin tissues of our ligaments, joints, deep fascia network and even our bones.
During the 75mn class, we&;ll stay in poses for about two to five minutes to allow the stress of the pause pose to soak into the connective tissues. We&;ll be still, present and work with our breath.

Yoga is about finding balance and feeling whole. If you don&;t have a Yin Yoga practice or have never tried it, check it out. You will likely be pleasantly surprised by the growth in your yang and meditation practices.

“Yoga has been my best friend for decades and my mat is a magic carpet where I work
with my body, not on my body. Consider your will and your body as two dancers. Yoga is a dance, not a wrestling match.
I am a continuous learner, and find a yoga fantastic discipline for all the stages of life. Yoga is for every body, as long as we practice with intention and attention”.
